Flurry watch

All of a sudden, the cold weather has arrived, and while the adults are grumbling, the kids are excited.  Evie was out of bed early every day last week to check if we had any snow on the ground.  One day that we had a few snow flurries, she asked me if it was a blizzard.  And Noah has been asking me if it's winter every single day.  We have embraced the cold by enjoying some of our favorite cold-weather things - homemade bread, pomegranates, warm fires, good local beer, basketball, and time with family.

It was a trip down memory lane for me to be back in the ADL gym, where my dad taught and coached for almost 40 years, and where I also learned to play basketball!  Now it's Evie's turn...

The unfortunate thing that also goes along with winter is getting sick.  Noah hasn't been feeling good for a couple of days, but we still managed to have some fun at home.
