Getting back to routine has been good for all of us. Everyone's mood is better, and the family equilibrium has returned (phew!). It was a busy week of normal life stuff - haircuts, field trips, teacher appreciation week, and our 18 year date-a-versarie! Matt was really sick on the actual anniversary, which was my reminder not to take any day for granted. Life is much easier and much more fun with him in the mix!

| Who else would build Lego creations like this? Certainly not me! |

| Here we were, 18 years ago! |
This time of year always gets me feeling sentimental. With Evie's birthday this week, Noah's birthday at the end of the month, Mother's Day, and St. Mike's graduation, we are reminded how quickly time passes. I'll have a special birthday post in honor of Evie after she turns SIX! (Pardon me while I go have a good cry about that).
Here are the highlights of our regular ol' week:
| There's nothing cuter than Noah with a fresh haircut! |
| Evie's field trip to the National Guard Base. She got to try on the F-16 pilot's gear! |
| Touch-a-truck |
| Snow cones and the Tumble Bus at Touch-a-Truck |
Hiking at Indian Brook surrounded by beautiful trillium flowers
| Throwing rocks...not my favorite game, but we escaped without injury |
| Safety first when eating lunch |
| "Helping" Daddy with a project |
