The big story of the past week was the giant snowstorm - STELLA - the second largest snowfall in Vermont history! Over two days, we were under a blizzard watch and got roughly 30 inches of snow. The unfortunate thing about blizzards is that it means the winds are also high (35 mph), so going out to play in the snow wasn't all that fun during the storm. Evie had two snow days in a row, which meant a lot of all-togetherness in the house. (In all my years growing up in VT, I don't remember ever having two snow days in a row!) We did bundle up and go out a few times, but most outings ended with someone crying and wanting to go back in - adults and dogs included! Thankfully we found some things to keep ourselves busy. We watched Trolls, made shamrock cookies, made soup, read books, played games, had a family band practice, and watched the snow pile up.

By the weekend, the weather was beautiful and we had fun sledding and snowshoeing, but the snow is disappearing quickly!
