Matt has been impatiently waiting to get Noah's first haircut, and the day finally arrived! Noah had developed a curly baby mullet, and after he slept on it, we thought it looked like a Brillo pad. Noah smiled at Kendra and sat there patiently the whole time she was trimming his hair. My baby looks like a big boy now, but at least it looks like he's still going to have some curls!

Evie didn't want to be left out, so she got a trim, too!
Aside from the haircuts, we did lots of birthday celebrating last week. Happy birthday to Aunt Boo Boo, Father Brian, and Mary-Alice!

In other excitement, we welcomed Aunt Pea's new puppy, Cherry, to the family. She is such a sweet girl, and Roscoe even liked her (he isn't usually a big fan of puppies)! Our kids liked her, but they were also very excited to play with their cousins.
Cherry's arrival coincided with a visit from Aunt Donna and Aunt Diane, and they finally had a chance to meet Noah for the first time. Evie loved spending time with her great aunties and is already asking when we can see them again. Hopefully soon!

I know most parents can relate, but Evie has come down with a new virus every week for the past month. She'll get better on the weekend, go back to school for a day or two, and come down with something else. It's so frustrating to be caught in this germ cycle. I am thankful that I'm home and able to just be here when she is sick, but ughhhhhhh, I have been stuck home A LOT. Thankfully, she rebounded quickly from her latest virus, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather over the weekend with some biking, sand table, seed planting, and car cleaning.
