This week has made us realize just how fragile and precious life is. Chronicling our day-to-day activities feels a little shallow in light of everything going on in the world, but I also imagine there are a lot of families who would give anything to bake brownies, do puzzles, and play cars with their kid for another day. We are grateful beyond words for Evelyn, for our families, our friends, and our faith, which gets us through these challenging times.

We also had to say goodbye to our four-legged niece this week - Ada Riggen. She left us with a lot of funny stories and a permanent paw print on our hearts. We will see you at the Rainbow Bridge, sweet girl.
