This is probably going to be a quick post, because like everyone else, we have a lot to get done before Christmas! Matt and I had a shopping date on Sunday to go out and get stuff for Evie, and it was so much fun!! We don't usually give ourselves free reign to buy stuff for her, so it was nice to enjoy spoiling her and imagining the fun she'll have with her new gifts. We are pretty much done with our shopping now, but we still have to do all our wrapping! EEK!

We had a little preview of Christmas with Jenn last week, and Evie got to have fun opening some gifts. Plus, now she has an adorable St. Mike's shirt and hoodie! Go Purple Knights!
I don't know how long teething lasts, but Evie is continuing to gnaw on everything in sight. My parents gave her a carrot to work on, and she loved it! We also tried one of those teething biscuits, but she wasn't very interested in it. Sadly, there are no teeth to show for her efforts yet. She is learning to feed herself puffs (those little baby finger foods), and over the past few days, she's gotten really good at getting them in her mouth.
We gave Evie a big girl bath last night, and it was terrifying for me. Her butt was so slippery in the big tub, and I kept catching her by one arm as she started to slide. She was also trying to pull herself up on the side of the tub. I think we're going to go back to her infant tub for a little bit longer!
And here are a few pictures of cuteness from the past week! Next week we'll have Christmas pictures, and hopefully a video of Evie's new trick - waving hello! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Love your blog, Erin! Have you tried a bath seat? It allows them to sit up but keeps them in place so they don't slip 'n slide in the tub. Have a wonderful first Christmas with Evie!
