5-Star Weekend

This past week was one that we need to remember in January when we are questioning our decision to live in Vermont. It doesn't get much more perfect than the warm sunny days we've been enjoying lately!
Matt finally got out fishing after a busy month!

Noah had a great week at Vermont Baseball School camp, and we celebrated at the end of the week with lunch out with a few buddies that were at camp with him.  Most days after baseball camp, Noah either went to his summer baseball games or played pool baseball with friends.  He mixed it up a few days and worked on his basketball shots too!  Summer is treating this kid pretty well!

Evie got back to the dance studio last week to work on some new choreography, and in very exciting news, her new (used) dance dress arrived.  It will need a few alterations, but it is gorgeous!  I also realized I never shared Evie's videos from Nationals, and several people have asked to see her dance, so here are the three rounds:

Kayla was in town to join Evie for practice.  Always a treat!

In her free time, Evie made some homemade dog treats for Frankie.  She approves!

From Thursday through Sunday, we really hit the jackpot with fun plans and good weather.  King Me played to a humungous crowd at Maquam Winery on Thursday, and we had so many friends that came out to hear the band!

Friday night, we took Noah to see Weird Al Yankovic in concert.  As expected, it was...weird!  The crowd was quite interesting, too.  However, seeing Noah have a blast with his friends made it all worthwhile!

Saturday was truly a perfect summer day.  We blew off all responsibilities, dropped Noah off at a birthday party at North Beach, and invited ourselves out on Aunt Pea's boat!  We boated from Burlington to Shelburne Bay, swam, had lunch, and then boated back to Burlington and picked Noah up from the party by boat.  He joined us for some more boating and swimming before we headed back to land.  We felt entirely spoiled and grateful for such a special day!

Noah had to swim out from the beach to meet us!
