Spring Things

After a cold and rainy week, Spring weather finally arrived over the weekend, and we couldn't be happier!  It has been so nice to watch some baseball games in the sunshine instead of packing blankets and winter hats for spectating.  Noah's team is continuing to have a "character-building season," but Noah has a lot to be proud of with his playing and hitting!

What a good baseball sister watching games, complete with her snackle-box!

With the nice weather over the weekend, Noah wanted to try hitting some balls at the driving range since some of his friends are into playing golf.  He was actually pretty good, and he hit some balls over 150 yards, which seemed impressive to me (NOT a golfer!).  Maybe those baseball skills are somewhat transferrable?!

It was a fairly uneventful week around here, with the exception of a bear wandering through the back yard at 8:00 in the morning!  I didn't see it first-hand, but our neighbor got a picture and said it had come from our direction.  In the 20+ years we've been here, this is a first!

Bear alert!

Here are a few other moments from everyday life last week...

Noah and his buddies attempted to transform his bed into a car made out of cardboard.  Not bad!

King Me gig at Cider Lab

Colby's senior prom!  We had to crash the pre-party and see him all spiffed up!

Matt worked with our mail carrier to repair the Little Free Library in our neighborhood after it was backed over by the mail truck.  What an awesome guy to show up on his day off to fix his mistake!
