Vermont came through in full Spring glory last week, and reminded us why we love living here! The trees are now full of leaves, and fields are green and lush. Everywhere you drive is breathtaking. We soaked it in with baseball, ice cream, fishing, and hiking, and we can't wait to do more! Noah has been umpiring games for the Little League minor's teams on nights when he doesn't have his own games, so he's at the fields almost every night. The best part for Noah is that he gets paid in pints of Ben & Jerry's! If that isn't a Vermont currency, I don't know what is!

| Noah cracked his bat, so he had to get a new one...he loves new gear, so he wasn't too sad! |

| Matt usually does catch and release, but one fish wasn't going to make it, so we enjoyed a delicious meal of trout! |

Over the holiday weekend, we headed to New Hampshire for a Feis for Evie. All four of us went this time, which we haven't done in a while, and it was fun to have the whole family crew together for the trip (mostly, ha ha!). We had a fun time hanging out with some of the other dance families/friends, but it was a little bit bittersweet because we found out one of Evie's good dance friends has decided to step away from Irish dance next year, and this was their last competition all together. On a happy note, Evie crushed her goals for this competition and finished 1st! Credit goes to Evie for her consistent dedication to her workouts and practice all year long, even on those nights when she is tired and has a ton of school work. The hard work is paying off! It's hard to believe that Nationals is less than 6 weeks away.

We returned home in time to have some time to hang out with friends on Memorial Day and do a little yard work, too! Hopefully we'll get our little raised bed garden planted this week now that it's finally warm enough for the plants to survive.
