We have made it to the end of basketball season! It's a busy season with a lot of schedule shuffling, but I really love watching basketball during the cold winter months. Noah's school team played in their end-of-season tournament Friday and Saturday, and ended up as tournament champions on Saturday! It was very exciting, and it was such a great team that really supported each other all season. We were so proud of them! Sunday was the championship game for Noah's Mini Metro team, and they won that game, as well!
As things seem to go with our crazy schedule, Evie had a dance competition locally at the same time as Noah's championship game on Saturday. Matt and I both hate to miss things for the kids, but we had to divide and conquer, and we were so lucky to have family at both events to support the kids. Evie danced beautifully, and she has really risen up to be more of a leader at her dance school, helping with the younger dancers and being such a good example for them. One of the little dancers told Evie she looked like a princess with her whole dance dress and wig on! So sweet!

In case the busy kids' events of weekend weren't enough, we also got to celebrate Elliot's 21st birthday on Friday night, and of course, there was Valentine's Day on Saturday! By the time we got to Saturday night, we just wanted to relax, so Matt made us a delicious surf and turf meal and we hunkered in and watched the Olympics.
