This has felt like the summer of many trips, and the trend continued last week with a trip to the Jersey Shore. It was a long drive, but we added a special detour to visit Aunt Joan on our way down. Once we got to the shore, the ocean was beautiful, but we had to dodge storms most days. There were a few windows of beautiful beach time, which we soaked up as much as we could! We played paddle ball, swam in the surf, jumped waves, attempted to body board, read, and just listened to the ocean. We had a rainy day trip to the movies, and also checked out the boardwalk in neighboring Seaside Heights with rides, games, and food (a lot like the fair!). We planned to stay overnight in Albany on the way back home, but after arriving at a sketchy hotel, we opted to keep driving and made it back to VT at 1:30am!

We flowed right into some great family time upon our arrival back to VT. The Colorado Z's were in town for a few days, and we had a ton of fun with them. There was lots of cousin time, including dancing, biking, swimming, and mini golf. We shared many delicious meals, laughs, and we miss them already!

When not with family, we've also had a chance to catch up with some of our high school buddies and their kids! This year makes 25 years since graduation - wow!

Noah has been keeping busy with archery camp and mountain biking camp, and Evie has been doing volleyball and art camp. This is the final week of camps, and we can feel the end of summer closing in. School emails are flooding my inbox, and we can't deny the sad fact that we are down to less than two weeks left in the summer! It's always too short!
