Happy Easter!

Last week was Holy Week, which we tried to be mindful of as we went through our week.  On Thursday, we played at mass and Evie was invited to be a part of the foot washing ceremony at church (they re-enact Jesus washing the disciples' feet).  It was a beautiful service and set the stage for the final few days of Lent.

A quick lunch with Aristea and her 4th place (in the WORLD!!) trophy before they headed back to Denver.  So proud of her!

Someone was feeling a little naughty. Maybe we can teach her to retrieve the mail?!

Mmmmm...finally a normal night at home for dinner!

I have no idea what prompted this!

We had some thunderstorms, and Frankie is NOT a fan.  Poor baby!

Evie's new kicks - she is excited to finally have a pair of Nike's!

A quick visit with the Conner family!

The weekend was full of fun with friends, the start of trout fishing, and Easter festivities.  Saturday was Grandpa Tom's egg hunt, which was challenging and exciting, as usual!  We had to traverse the neighborhood, look in gutters, under stairs, and many other unexpected locations for our clues.  Sunday, we had Easter morning at home with baskets and a little egg hunt, then we went to church and to Aunt Pea's for brunch.  The bonus at the end of the day was a visit with Nana Mil!  All in all, it was a wonderful weekend of celebrating, and the weather was beautiful and sunny!

Very cold conditions for the opening day of trout season!  Matt is quite dedicated!

A sample clue - this is a picture all scrambled up!

Final clue!

All dressed up for church!

We missed Carly, because she had to work all day!

Visiting with Nana Mil. She was so happy to be with the family!
