We finally had a week to catch our breath without a ton of extra stuff going on. The kids had a 4-day school week with Parent-Teacher conferences at the end. Evie's conference was a student-led conference, where she had prepared a presentation for us on her Chromebook at school, and she talked about each of her different classes and what they've been learning. It was different, and it was a nice window into her middle school experience. Noah's conference was a traditional one, and we are happy to report that both kids seem to be having a good year!
After a fairly calm week, the weekend was busy! We spent the day on Saturday at Norwich University with Evie at the VT State STEM Fair. It was an honor for her to be selected, and even though she didn't come home with any awards, she really enjoyed the experience. The fun continued that evening for me at an 80's-themed party for a friend's birthday. The outfits were amazing, and everyone went all-in with their attire! Matt kept busy with 2 King Me gigs in the midst of all the other events, and then we wrapped up the weekend with a fun skating birthday party for one of Noah's friends on Sunday. Phew. By Sunday evening, we felt like we needed another weekend to recover from the weekend of fun!
