We finally seem to be heading into a warmer week here in VT, which conveniently is happening at the same time that it's getting a little safer for us to start spending time with a couple of other people. We took a family adventure to the river to go fishing (no catches this time, but the scenery was so beautiful!), and Noah also had an outdoor, safely-distanced Ninja class last week. This was the first in-person organized activity we have had since the quarantine began, and they did a great job of keeping the kids distanced and safe while still having fun. Noah can't wait to go back again this week!
Over the weekend we took a drive up to St. Anne's Shrine in Isle La Motte, and the kids deemed it the "best vacation ever!" It was amazing how refreshing it felt to drive an hour from home and spend some time in a different setting. The kids played at the beach, skipped rocks, and we enjoyed a bonfire on the beach before heading home.
Sunday, we had another fun outing with some friends at Mills Riverside Park. The kids played in the river, played Police, and had such awesome time running around, being free and forgetting all about quarantine. We capped the outing off with maple creemees!
