It has been back to winter with lots of cold and snow lately! I'm not a huge fan of the extremely cold weather, but it did inspire me to bake some seriously good cookies for a Friday treat. With the fresh snow, a highlight of the week was finally getting out to play in the powder on Sunday - the kids built an igloo before church, and then we went out sledding and for a walk in the woods. It made me realize how much I've missed being outdoors lately! Hopefully this family will get up to the mountain soon for some more outdoor fun.

The earlier part of the week was full of play dates, family time, cousin time, another family Christmas celebration (!) and enjoying Matt's band at On Tap on Friday night. There's been lots going on to keep us going through this dark time of year!
