Bright moments in a dreary week

It was a pretty dreary week, and we're getting a taste of the approaching dark months of winter.  However, we were lucky that the rain held off for trick-or-treating on Halloween, and our week was brightened by the happy news of the birth of our beautiful new niece, Aurelia!  We can't wait to meet her in person.  For now, we are very grateful for technology to keep us connected with pictures, texts, and a video chat for the kids to meet their new cousin.

"Meeting" our newest family member!

There's nothing like a new baby to make our babies seem HUGE.  Grandma has snuggles for all of them, large and small!
Noah and I have had lots of indoor play, building things with Legos, blocks, and actual tools, and he has continued to be obsessed with his bike.  He is riding with lots of confidence, both around the neighborhood and at the pump track!  Evie has been very into playing school and asking us to quiz her on math problems any time there's a lull in conversation.  I'm a proud mom to see a girl who loves math as much as I do!

Ready for another day of biking!

Noah REALLY wants a helmet like this.  He was pretty excited to try one on!

Happy to be out biking with Daddy
