Is anyone else suffering from Olympics-induced sleep deprivation? Thank goodness our vacation begins at the end of the week!
Noah had a pretty good week - school, dentist, haircut, library, and lots of time home with Mom. I have been savoring our time at home together, knowing that these days are going by so quickly. Noah has also turned a corner with his behavior, and he has been a lot of fun to be around lately. Less tantrums, quicker to recover from a bad mood, and easier to reason with.

Evie wasn't feeling well at the beginning of last week, but honestly, with so many flu germs around, we were thankful to just catch a cold. She rebounded in time to sell Girl Scout cookies at UVM and have lots of fun with her friend Josie over the weekend. Those two girls love nothing more than adventuring outside, then coming in and doing artwork together. Evie must also be going through a growth spurt, because she has been HUNGRY. She'll eat a good dinner, then claim she is starving before bed and proceed to eat three bowls of cereal!

We finally finished up the last of Matt's birthday celebrations with a winter hike and lunch. He was so pleased to get an old-school Super Nintendo and introduce the kids to the video games of our youth! Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, and Street Fighter brought back some memories!
