Getting Festive

It is starting to feel like the holiday season, despite our lack of snow.  After starting to see Christmas lights around the neighborhood, Evie convinced Matt to get our outdoor lights up, and we did our annual family Christmas tree hunting outing over the weekend.  It has essentially become a tailgate party where we happen to get Christmas trees, but needless to say, we have a good time!  Our tree is enormous this year, and we had to buy extra lights to cover the whole thing.  The other holiday thing that will be starting soon is the Elf on the Shelf.  I resisted this tradition as long as possible, but Evie has come home from school every day with stories from her friends about their elves, and just last night she wrote a letter to Santa asking for her own elf.  We will see if and when the elf makes its first appearance!

We had another tricky few days with Noah, but thankfully he has had some hilarious outfits to break up the stressful moments.
