Evie wrapped up her first soccer season with the end-of-season jamboree on Saturday. I think we were all surprised how fun it was, and we are looking forward to doing it again next year. First athletic endeavor - check!
We went right from soccer to an open house at the fire station, and I figured Noah would see a fire truck and we'd be done. Instead, it was a very cool event, complete with a live burn, cutting the door and roof off of a car, food, face painting, and a ton of freebies for the kids. Thank you to all the awesome fire department volunteers!
Evie and Colby were very excited to continue their tradition of going to Lego night together with Matt at the elementary school!
And Noah was pretty happy to have a game night with 100% of Mommy's attention lavished on him while everyone else was gone!
We have filled in the rest of our time with making leaf piles, blowing our noses (we are all getting through the first round of school-year germs), park dates with friends, playing hide and seek, making pancakes, and enjoying the word garden at St. Mike's after mass on Sunday.
Beautiful day at the park!
Hide and seek. Where's Noah?
These two made the pancake batter without any help from adults!

Thank you for taking Colby to Lego night -- he was so happy to be able to go!
