All of a sudden, it seems that Christmas is coming SOON...and there's a lot left to do! It was looking like Christmas last week with a little bit of fresh snow, but now we have been inundated with rain, and it's looking like we may have a green Christmas. We are keeping our spirits bright despite the soggy weather with lots of fun pre-holiday activities. Last week there was gingerbread house making with the Girl Scouts, a cookie swap and decorating party with neighbors, a Christmas concert for Matt, Christmas caroling in the neighborhood, fudge making, and a fun family movie night watching Elf. It has been busy, but joyful and fun. Noah said, "Mom, doesn't the house just feel cozier at Christmas time?" and I couldn't agree more! The kids are still very excited for Christmas, even though they're getting older, and I find that they appreciate some of the traditions even more now.
