Fancy like Noah...

As I glanced through the photos from the week, I could have made an album titled, "The Many Outfits of Noah!"  We have been preparing him for two special sacraments in our church - First Reconciliation and First Communion, so he needed some clothes that were not activewear.  It turns out that Noah LOVES getting dressed up, and he was so proud of his fancy outfit when he tried it on!

Proud Family!  Good job Noah!

Noah is also going to play Little League this spring, so we have been practicing and gathering the necessary equipment.  Again, he is thrilled to have all the gear for the season and wants to wear it all the time.

We also celebrated St. Patty's Day, and he put together quite the festive outfit!

Evie was down for the early part of the week with a cold, but thankfully she rebounded quickly, and in time for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. She was really excited to be able to dance at a couple of restaurants with a few other dancers from McFadden Academy.  It happened to be 60 degrees and sunny that day, which just added to the festive mood!  Evie did a great job, and it was so much fun to see her confidence dancing in front of a room full of spectators.  Proud mama over here!

The kids had a 4-day weekend for parent-teacher conferences, and Evie has been cooking up a storm.  She made crepes for breakfast and she made cupcakes with a friend.  We also enjoyed the extra time for some play dates, artwork, science projects, and of course, March Madness basketball!

I was glad to have some helpers at the car wash!

We have had this salt water and just by the process of evaporation, it's coated the pencil and jar in salt.  Fun to observe!

This is Noah's portrait of... me!  (That is my hair, not a beard!)

Can you find the boys hiding in the cedars having a Nerf gun fight?

Evie got to make jewelry at Girl Scouts with a Vermont artist!

This innocent-looking girl has been a little naughty lately!  We were outside and when we came in, she had knocked over a dining room chair and eaten a cupcake off the table!  Good thing she is cute.
