We have entered my least favorite time of the year...the school anticipation season. Everyone's emotions are running high (myself included) as we prepare for the shift in routine. This year's earlier start times for school and a new bus schedule have magnified the sense of impending change. Even though we have been carrying on with summer and trying to keep things as normal as possible, the feelings are just below the surface and have been bubbling over more easily.
Evie had her final camp of the summer last week - gymnastics camp. Despite having a cold for the whole week, she had a fun time and picked up a few new skills!

We hit up a few summer events and did lots of biking last week, including a fun ride on the Burlington Bike Path with Mary-Alice, Brian, and sweet baby Emily. It was a perfect Burlington summer week!
